The Castroville  Bicycle Tour

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Castroville Regional Park

Castroville, Texas

8:00 A.M. start time

The newly identified Lion’s Sports Complex is located on the city block just north of the Castroville Elementary School.  It currently houses one fenced baseball field, two 50 year old restrooms, dilapidated bleachers and several treeless city lots covered with weeds and rocks.  The plans have been drawn to include several soccer fields as well as practice fields, a walking/jogging trail and a skate park, in addition to playground areas.  The softball field, concession stand, restrooms and bleachers will also be renovated and made accessible to all patrons.

However, the City needs your help!  Without funds the Lion’s Sports complex will never come to fruition.  This bike tour is just one of the many opportunities to raise money for this worthwhile endeavor.  Please watch for future Fun Runs, Cook Offs, Tournaments and much more!

Thank you for your participation.  We hope you enjoy your time in historic Castroville Texas!
